Miley Ray Cyrus was born Destiny Hope Cyrus on November 23, 1992 in Franklin, Tennessee and raised in Thompson's Station, Tennessee to Tish Cyrus & Billy Ray Cyrus. She is the youngest of five siblings. They include two sisters and brothers younger than her. Her name was chosen by her parents since they wanted her to be successful. Her childhood nickname, Smiley, due to her cheerful personality and cheerful personality, eventually became Miley. Ron Cyrus was her grandfather.
